YESTERDAY

Was it good, bad, mediocre? What is the time span under consideration—days, months, years, lifetimes, former lives?

What did you have for breakfast last Tuesday? Aha,stumped you did I.

How do you expect me or any other mere mortal to answer these questions.

Most meander through life at a pace that creates dense dust behind our path. Even if we turn around to look, the view is hazy and foggy at best.

I guess the most we can hope for is retaining the lessons we learned; like the pain of touching a hot grill—the euphoria of preparation and a job well done—the warmth of knowing we made a positive difference in someone’s life ETC.

Slowly move on to tomorrow with today in mind, without concern for the past. The lessons learned remain embedded and come to the front when needed in various situations.
