ARM CANDY

She was barely forty and he pushing early seventies. They turned heads when entering a room, flowed on the dance floor, laughed together even before finishing their first martini, practiced yoga together. Enjoyed each other’s company to the envy of onlookers.

Both had dissimilar past experiences. She a millennial and he a baby boomer. She knew all about Phish which he had never heard of. She did not know who Perry Como was.

She had visions of her future that he had already experienced. They liked different movies and books.

Candy melts and what is left. I guess short lived memories.
