MENTAL ENTROPY

When starting a game of bridge, the players have a full deck. As the hand progresses, through understanding the game, experience, and good judgment cards are drawn and discarded.

At the end of the hand, all the cards have been used by the players.

When we come into this world, our brain usually has a full deck.

This brain deck consists of billions of neurons that enable us to function and reason, articulate and learn at a very high-level.

Through proper judgment and care of our physical body, the neurons are used at a slower pace, thus enabling us to have a have a full to partial deck longer and be able to play the game of life longer.

A common example of entropy, is wood burning to ashes. As the wood is used up by the burning process, the wood substance is dissipated and less energy exist.

Is Alzheimer’s, in some cases an example of mental entropy? What about dementia?
