IF NOT NOW WHEN?

I know this sounds trite, but often life lessons can be learned from the obvious that is not implemented.

We all hear, we need to live in the now. Not worry about tomorrow ,not worry about what we did yesterday, but focus on what we are doing presently.

I know this is the ideal state of mind, but achieving this stasis is daunting. My mind skips and jumps like an elusive tick moving from host to host.

Even when I am deep in meditation, often a chasm opens up and unwanted daunting thoughts creep in.

I think fear can be the culprit creating worry, making the mind fabricate daunting scenes and issues of what might be.
