LAWYER, ATTORNEY OR ASSHOLE

Is there a difference? This is not a multiple-choice exercise, it is one in which you have to answer this question.

Is it that an attorney likes to hear what he/she has to say. After dictating does this person play it back just to hear his/her voice without regard for the content? Does this person have an inflated ego? Is the attorney’s ego bloated even more based on the law school attended and enjoys broadcasting it to the world? Does this person usually prefer being addressed by the last name? Is their wall papered with certificates?

Is a lawyer, more down to earth? Having spent time in the trenches and understands the mindset of his clients and the common man?Is it less likely that he/she wears ego on the sleeve?

How many times have you heard a client in an adversarial matter say, I want an asshole for a lawyer? What does this tell you about the distinction between a lawyer and an attorney?

Can a lawyer, attorney and an asshole be the same person depending on circumstances?
