TRAMP STAMP

The lady is a tramp is a musical hit show tune,Babes in Arms by Rogers and Hart, presented in the 1937’s. It’s a spoof on New York high society. The lady involved by her conduct stamped herself a tramp in conduct of active rebellion.

Tramp is a synonym for slut. However a slut is obvious. A tramp is a woman who will disguise herself as a lady, making you believe she has everything you would ever want, until the next man comes along.

A business creates a logo to identify it’s service or product and visually stamps it in the minds of its customers.

A rancher creates a unique identifying symbol and stamps it on it’s cattle’s hide with a hot branding iron(ouch-hurts me to even think about this!).

Is a woman who allows herself to be imprinted with a tattoo in the category of a “tramp stamp”?

I can think of a multitude of reasons, why a woman would create on her body an indelible symbol. Some of these reasons are as follows:

Rebellion

Need to make a statement

Inebriated when it occurred

Declaring independence

Black Friday bargain

“The devil made me do it”

See Dad-I showed you

Boredom

Ecstatic feeling

Satisfying the naughty ego

Well these are some of my nonsensical rantings just thinking about the issue of tattoos.

By the way, if a lady has been “Tramp Stamped” will the post office honor this and mail her through to the destination that has been tattooed onto her chest?

Would the post office service, insist that she have tattooed onto her back a return address?
