What is a pusher? What is a pill? Those two words go together to make up pill pusher?

If someone wants a pill pusher is the reference to someone who dispenses pills? Counts pills? Or someone who encourages buying more and encouraging getting a 90 day supply and creating an automatic refill?

What are the characteristics of a really talented pill pusher?

Is it someone who can accurately count pills? What if the pill pusher
makes a mistake counting pills? What happens if a pill pusher has fewer than the total number of pills and what happens if they have more? Is it an exact science how many pills should be prescribed or just simply an educated guess based on the physicians years of experience?

Is it the pill pushers responsibility to point out something that appears to be inappropriate in a prescription? How about if the pills adversely conflict with another medication possibly causing serious allergic reaction? Is it the pill pushers responsibility to tell the patient or should tell the doctor first?

To whom does the pill pusher have responsibility ? To the customer or the referring physician who is their lifeline to revenue?

Has the pill pusher morphed into more, sure as a stick specialist? If so how many daily sticks are permissible or required?
